Born Amara, Iraq, 1953. BA in art and design from the Academy of Fine Arts, Baghdad, 1976, and BA in fine arts from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, 1994. Exhibitions around the world. Lectures on Iraqi Art and has participated in several events supporting Contemporary creativity in Iraq, 2004-5. Based in Switzerland.
